Dhikala Zone is one of the most visited Safari zone of the Corbett National Park. Located 50 kms inside the dense forest of Jim Corbett, Dhikala Range is known for panoramic valley views and wildlife sightings. On the edge of Patli Dun valley, Dhikala zone has several Ramganga channels converges in the reservoir. It also consists a largest remaining grassland, Dhikala chaur with Phulai chaur.
2. Garjiya Temple
One of the famous Shakti Shrine in Uttarakhand, Garjiya Devi Temple is the holy temple of Garjiya Devi, presiding deity of the temple. Legends belive that Garjiya Devi is the incarnation of Goddess Parwati, daughter of King of the Mountains Himalaya also known as Giriraj.
Bijrani Range is located close to Amdanda Gate anear Ramnagar. Visitors can have higher probablity of tiger sighting during Bijrani Safari. Wildlife, grasslands and dense, deep forest with stormy drains are major attraction of Bijrani wildlife zone
4. Corbett Falls
Corbett Falls is a scenic water fall located at 25 kms from Ramnagar. Developed as a picnic spot for tourist, Corbett Water Falls is surrounded by dense teak wood forest which extends its natural beauty. Sound of the waterfall makes perfect melody with chippings of the birds.
5. Sona Nadi Range
Sonanadi range is located in Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary which is a part of Corbett National Park. Developed as a natural habitat of wildlife animals and birds, Sonanadi range is blessed with amazing beauty of flora and fauna. Situated in the north of Sonanadi river, this zone is favoruite place for Asiatic Elephant along with tiger, cheetal, sambhar, leopard and raptiles. Visitors can also enjoy over 550 of birds in their natural habitat.
6. Kyari Camp
Kyari Camp is a paradise for the adventure lovers as it offers innumerable leisure activities to the city dwellers. This offbeat place is located in the wilderness of Kyari village, situated to the east of Kosi River. This place is rich in bio-diversity as the region sprawls with lush greenery and is a home to varied wild life.
7. Dhangarhi Museum
The Dhangarhi Museum is situated near Dhangarhi gate. It is one of the major attractions of the tourists. This museum is standing firm on the grounds since the man-eating tigers have been in existence. The museum throws light on the life and journey of Corbett.
8. Sitabani Temple
This temple is dedicated to Sita, the female protagonist of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Its association with the Ramayana, a Hindu epic, is corroborated by legends that state that Sita, the protagonist of Ramayana, spent her days stranded in exile during the agnipariksha episode.
9. Mandal River
Mandal River originates within the eastern heights of Talla Salan in Chamoli district and is an important tributary of Ramganga River. An important breeding place of Mahaseer fish, Mandal River cascades down the mountainous region of Uttarakhand for 32 kilometers before joining Ramganga.
Sunrise Point is the highest point of elevation in Corbett National Park and its surrounding area at Bhuwankhal Village (Kath ki Nao). It’s also famous an oldest bungalow built by British.
